Vancouver Christian School is a large, diverse, K-12 school located in East Vancouver, British Columbia.  A vibrant and close-knit community of over 900 students, VCS is a proud leader in Christian education celebrating over 70 years of history in the region.  VCS is dedicated to preparing students for a life of transformation and service through excellent, Christ-centred education.

Requirements

• Certified teacher in British Columbia

• Completion of a Bachelor of Education

• Experience teaching numeracy and literacy

• Understanding of faith integration across the curriculum

• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction

• Strong working knowledge of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learning

  ● Empowered by technology

• Strong communicator

• Enthusiastic, collaborative team member

Salary range
Anticipated full-time teacher salary range for 2024/25:
$56,016 - $100,902
(Dependent on education, qualifications, and experience; pro-rated for part-time teachers)
