Richmond Christian School’s Middle Campus serves approximately 260 Grade 6-8 students and their families. We commit to a middle year’s philosophy of learning. We are a close-knit community of educators, passionate about Christian education and adolescents aged 11-14 years of age.

About the Position

A homeroom teacher enrolls approximately 25 students in their homeroom class and is responsible for all aspects of their learning (i.e. lesson planning, teaching, assessment etc.) in a variety of subjects, most typically Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Socials, and Bible. The homeroom teacher will also teach other students at the same grade level. Homeroom teachers work in close collaboration with the other homeroom teachers working at that grade level. They have 270 minutes of preparation time per week.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current professional certification from the Teachers’ Regulation Branch
• Clear evidence of sincere Christian faith
• Capacity for high levels of collaboration, communication, and teamwork
• Knowledge of and experience with the middle years is preferred
