**Job Description:**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 1/2 Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elementary education, with experience in teaching primary grades. As a Christian school, our teachers play a vital role in fostering spiritual growth and character development in our students.
**Responsibilities:**
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with Ontario curriculum standards plus our school's Christian values
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure academic success for all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student learning and well-being
- Integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview into daily instruction and classroom culture
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor of Education degree with Ontario Teaching Certification (OCT) or equivalent degree.
- Experience teaching in a primary-grade classroom
- Strong understanding of child development and best practices in elementary education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a Christian learning community and integrating faith into teaching practice
