We are excited to announce that Koinonia Christian Academy, located in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, is inviting applications for a Part-Time Junior/Senior Grade French Teacher, starting August 26, 2024.

KCA is seeking a qualified, certified teacher to join our team. Applicants must be a committed Christian, love children, and be passionate about teaching with Christ-centered education.

 Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging French language lesson plans for students in various grade levels.

• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to practice and develop their French language skills.

• Incorporate Christian principles and values into French language instruction.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate French language learning opportunities across the curriculum.

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.

Requirements

• Fluent in French with strong proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

• Strong Christian faith and commitment to integrating faith into teaching practices.

• OCT qualifications or CSTC preferred

• Previous experience teaching French language preferred.

• Enthusiastic and creative approach to teaching, with a passion for language learning and cultural exploration.
