Beacon Christian School, a thriving JK-8 independent school in St. Catharines, ON, is seeking a passionate and experienced Principal to lead our educational community. About Us
With a strong history of 65 years in Christian education, Beacon Christian serves a diverse community of 410 students from over 200 families, representing over 70 unique church congregations in the Niagara area. Our mission is to equip students to impact communities by serving Christ. 

Position Overview
Beacon recently adopted an ambitious strategic plan that includes initiatives to expand into the preschool years, enhance the student experience in the middle school years (gr. 6-8), and fully utilize the Beacon property to allow up to 600 students to attend on site. As the Principal, you will work alongside an experienced administrative team and report directly to the Board of Directors. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational culture and future of the school. This position begins in August of 2025.

• Providing visionary educational leadership.
• Modeling an active faith life as a follower of Jesus and ensuring the integration of Christian worldview and heart-forming practices into all aspects of school life.
• Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development and excellence in Christian teaching practices.
• Engaging with students, families, and staff to create a supportive and connected school community.
• Managing budgets and resources effectively while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

Who You Are
You are a professing Christian, with a commitment to Beacon’s mission and vision. You hold a Master’s degree in educational leadership (or an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications) and possess teacher certification. You demonstrate exceptional leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the developmental needs of elementary students.

Salary Range

$100,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
