About us:

Beacon Hill Christian Academy is a new, thriving school just north of Toronto and we are in our second year of operations.   Despite being only 2 years old, we do have over 40 years experience in education and community building.  We are a result of a school that split into 2 separate schools due to families moving further north and longer commuting times (a story for another day ?).  We are blessed to be financially sound, own our own building and have a very supportive community, staff and board. 

The school is located in Gormley, Ontario on a clear and treed lot and serves students from the supporting Christian community.

We provide an engaging, diverse, and biblically sound education and teach all academic subjects with a Christian worldview. We believe that God has a beautiful plan for each and every one of us and we equip our students to be thriving citizens of their community as they benefit from our expansive curriculum.

Beacon Hill will deliver a curriculum that bases itself on the Reformed Christian faith. The curriculum focuses on the five tenants of the Reformation which are God’s Word alone, faith alone, grace alone, Christ alone, to the glory of God alone. We believe these foundational principals are relevant to the modern Christian church today. The curriculum that we teach, learn, and interact with in our communities must align with what we learn about God through his Word and that Scripture is our final authority. 

We are inviting qualified applicants who possess an Ontario Teaching Certificate and who integrate their Christian worldview into their teaching to apply for teaching positions all grades starting in September 2025.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the principal, the teacher delivers the Beacon Hill Christian Academy program. We are looking for 1 elementary school teacher.  Grade TBD based on upcoming enrolment
