*This is a maternity leave position, with an anticipated start date of December 2025, for 12-18 months, subject to the return of our current teacher. We are a growing school, with new openings every year.*

We are accepting applications for a Junior Kindergarten Teacher, 3 days/week (Tu/We/Fr). The teacher will work with a second JK teacher to coordinate instruction and consistency between both JK sections. Wednesday is a common day with both JK sections and both JK teachers present. 

Using our curriculum, the teacher will plan and teach all lessons (phonics, math, Bible, read aloud, nature study, art, PE, and others). This person will value spending time in nature, using poems and stories to teach and inspire, and be diligent in nurturing good habits in young children. This person will have a deep appreciation of nature and the arts - an enthusiasm for studying the created world and our cultural heritage of art, music, and theatre. This teacher will create an orderly, kind, and calm classroom. They will hold a strong view of the students as image bearers of God, shepherding the students’ hearts and minds as they grow in character and love for God and others.
