About Us: At Foundation Christian School, we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Our goal is to provide a supportive atmosphere where each child can thrive academically and socially. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview: As an Educational Assistant at Foundation Christian School, you are joining our resource team, and working collaboratively to support the learning of our whole school community.  Our Educational Assistants are empowered as a team, and given agency to collaborate with the wider school staff on positioning resources to best support students.  Regular team check-ins and support is essential, as the team supports one another to support learning.  Working 1-1, in small groups, with specialized programing, and in classroom settings are all regular aspects of the role.  Voicing input on learning needs, and directly shaping learning for students is part of the rewarding experience of the role.  

Qualifications:

• Educational Support/Educational Assistant diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young learners.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to the needs of the classroom.
