DCHS Mission Statement:

Durham Christian High School strives to provide an excellent Christ-centered education which enables students to develop their sense of wonder at God’s work, their awareness of humanity’s role in culture, and their gifts for a life of service to God and others.

Durham Christian High School seeks to hire a full-time teacher (3 courses daily) starting January 1, 2026, and ending June 2026 to fill a parental leave. 

We will also consider a candidate able to start February 1, 2026 as well.

The courses being filled are Math 1W, Data Management 4M or Calculus 4U, and Geography 1W. 

There is a possibility for the contract to be extended for the 2026-27 school year. 

The desired candidate will profess a faith in Jesus and demonstrate a vibrant Christian lifestyle; be a trained and certified teacher (OTC or equivalent) and have an excellent rapport with teenagers.
