TDChristian High School JOB POSTINGS for September 2022-23

Toronto District Christian High School’s focus is “Learning for Service in the Light of God’s Word.”

Opening(s) for September: Full-time (though part-time may be considered)

TDChristian is seeking up to four teachers to become part of our team that includes over 30 teachers. As a staff, we combine and blend our gifts, talents, skills, and abilities to determine the best ways to teach and support each student in his or her learning with and for each of our student’s families.

What we desire in our teachers?

Learning is stimulated, nurtured, and flourishes through the student-teacher relationships we emphasize and foster.

We desire teachers and leaders who:

• are active Christians who seek to serve God in every part of their lives and can articulate how and why they do.
• care deeply about, love, and respect teenagers and their learning.
• are lifelong learners who are engaged in, passionate about, and dedicated to their craft.
• are team players who are flexible, collaborative, and value positive relationships.
• are involved in leading numerous and varied extracurricular activities especially coaching.
• are qualified teachers or experts in their subject areas.

Particular areas of need are Chemistry, Biology, Special Education, and English though we are MOST interested in adding passionate and caring teachers to our team. Teachers who like to teach a variety of subjects are also welcome to apply. The ability and willingness to teach Mathematics, Computer Science, Geography, French, Physical Education or Geography would be an asset.
