Timothy Christian School in Owen Sound is accepting applications for a full time educational assistant with some personal support worker responsibilities. The qualified individual will provide 1-on-1 support for a special needs student. 

Qualifications / Experience:

• Enjoys working with special needs children
• Experience with children with special needs (between ages of 5 to 12 years of age), in particular development delays
• Experience as an EA
• Experience modifying school curriculum and activities to suit a child's needs and goals
• Experience working with a teacher and with a student's IEP
• Communicates English clearly (for special needs student's comprehension)
• Patient
• Flexible
• Willing to monitor or help a student with some ADL (activities of daily living)
