John Knox Christian School in Wyoming Ontario, is inviting applications for a full-time paraeducator position for the 2025–2026 school year. This support staff role runs Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling approximately 1,200 hours over the school year.

Qualifications:
A diploma for   Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Service Worker (DSW) is preferred, though an ECE diploma or nursing degree will also be considered. Candidates should have experience supporting students with individual developmental needs or be committed to completing professional development in special education. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one support for students with significant developmental needs

• Assisting with feeding, lifting, and changing as required

• Supporting students in daily classroom routines and activities

• Have experience working with students who require personal care and individualized attention

• Demonstrate a passion for nurturing young learners to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ

• Be flexible, collaborative, and possess strong communication skills
