Maternity Leave Learning Resource Teaching Position
Start Date: February 1, 2023 Deadline: December 1, 2022
Ottawa Christian School is a vibrant and growing JK-8 school that provides Christ-centered education to 268 students in the Ottawa area. We strive to work collaboratively as a team to guide our students to learn and grow in Him.
We are looking for a 70% (over 4 days), Learning Resource Teacher. This position is currently planned for a 12-month term.
The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate creativity and compassion in connecting with students and staff
Collaborate with teachers in updating and implementing IEPs and classroom support.
Provide leadership to our EA team (schedules, communication)
Assist admissions by facilitating new student meetings/screenings.
Special Education qualifications and experience are an asset.
