The position. Oak Hill is seeking a humble, competent, dedicated Grade 6 Teacher for August 2025.

Using our curriculum, the teacher will plan and teach lessons in all or most of the following: Bible, English language (composition, spelling, grammar, poetry, logic), history and literature, mathematics, and likely science and PE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the language arts and elementary mathematics. They will love good literature. This person will have a deep appreciation of nature and the arts - an enthusiasm for studying the created world and our cultural heritage of art, music, and theatre. This teacher will create a welcoming, kind, and calm classroom and be diligent in encouraging students to grow in wisdom and virtue through regular prayer and Bible reading, habit-training, loving correction, and maintaining high expectations for kindness, hard work, and good habits.
