Koinonia Christian Academy, located in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, is seeking a Part Time Music & Band Teacher. Our Gr 6-8 students enthusiastically participate in band class and our extra-curricular concert band.  KCA also showcases our band students throughout the year with a number of fun concerts and presentations. Requirements

• Strong Christian faith and commitment to integrating faith into teaching practices

• Ability to teach music, recorder, and band instruments

• Demonstrated knowledge of music theory

• Background in Music (degree in Music Education, other music accreditation)

• Technical knowledge and experience with production performance for events such as Christmas concerts, recitals etc. are highly valued

• Knowledge of Ministry expectations for music grades 3 - 8 and OCT certification are an asset
