Director of Admissions and Advancement

Ottawa Christian School (OCS) is a vibrant and thriving JK-8 school that provides Christ-centered education to students in the Ottawa area.  We strive to work collaboratively as a team to guide our students to learn and grow in Him.

Ottawa Christian School is currently accepting applications for a Director of Admissions and Advancement. The job will initially be 2-3 days per week focusing on Admissions with the potential to grow the Advancement role in the future.

Key responsibilities include:

Admissions

• Manage all inquiries from prospective families, providing clear and accurate information about OCS programs and admissions procedures.
• Process applications efficiently, adhering to established deadlines and protocols.
• Conduct tours of the school facilities, showcasing the unique Christian learning environment of OCS.
• Coordinate admissions events, open houses etc., ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
• Maintain and update admissions records and reports.

Advancement

• Create overall vision and strategic direction for fundraising and advancement to support Ottawa Christian School and its vision and mission.
• Using relationship-based strategies, build authentic relationships and connections.
• Establish a committee. Educate and engage key volunteers in implementing mission-based fundraising.
