Newmarket Christian Academy (NCA) is seeking a qualified Christian educator to join our team as a Physical Education specialist teacher (Gr 1-8) and coach for the 2025/26 school year. This is listed as a part-time role, with the potential to move to full-time dependent on the applicant's skillset and desire.

Newmarket Christian Academy is a K-8 school located in the heart of Newmarket. We are rapidly growing and looking to expand our amazing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Christian education and teaching from a Christian worldview. A professional practice of continuous learning, knowledge of research-based teaching practices, and an innovative mindset is highly valued. Strong collaboration skills, organizational ability, and a desire to be actively involved in the school community are assets. 

A successful candidate will have qualifications and a proficiency in teaching physical education, a passion for sport and character development, and experience with coaching and playing sports in a variety of contexts. Additional qualifications in coaching and physical education, as well as a Christian teaching certification and/or OCT qualification, are an asset.
