FINANCE DIRECTOR

Maranatha Christian Academy is a Christ-centered elementary and secondary school committed to academic excellence and spiritual development. We are seeking a Finance Director who loves the Lord and is passionate about our school’s mission.

Position Summary

The Finance Director is responsible for managing the financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and sound fiscal management in alignment with the school’s mission and regulatory requirements. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on accounting duties and requires collaboration with the Principal, Board Treasurer, and Finance Committee.

• Bookkeeping & Financial Management
• Strategic & Financial Planning
• Risk, Compliance & Vendor Management
• Serving on the Finance and the Tuition Assistance Committees

 Qualifications

The ideal candidate has at least five years of full-cycle accounting experience, a diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related field, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in Christian education or the non-profit sector is an asset.
