John Knox Christian School in Wyoming Ontario, is inviting applications for a full-time para-educator for the 2026/2027 school year, with the position starting on September 8, 2026. The hours of work are from  8:30 am to 3:30pm daily (6.5 hours/day).  Compensation will be between $23.50 to $26.00 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications. 

Qualifications:
A diploma as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Service Worker (DSW) is preferred, though other certification or related experience will be considered such as ECE or CYW. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one support for students with significant developmental needs

• Assisting with feeding, lifting, and changing as required

• Supporting students in daily classroom routines and activities

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with students who require personal care and individualized attention

• Demonstrate a passion for nurturing young learners to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ

• Be flexible, collaborative, and possess strong communication skills

• Have experience and/or training supporting students with autism
