Sarnia Christian School (SCS) is seeking a Financial Administrator to join our administration team. Main responsibilities include:
- Data entry for tuition and donation income
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Tuition registration processes
- General Ledger and all reconciliations
- Internal financial reporting
- Government remittances and other required filings
- Payroll, donation receipts, data analysis, comparative reports, bursaries, arrears, budget prep, and all fiscal year end audit responsibilities
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in Accounting, and equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
- 3+ years of financial administration experience, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
Approximate Hours of Work: 2 days per week or 16 hours per week. Hours are flexible.
Compensation: $25-$45 hours per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
