Part-Time Financial Administrator

Sarnia Christian School (SCS) is seeking a Financial Administrator to join our administration team.  Main responsibilities include:

  • Data entry for tuition and donation income
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Tuition registration processes
  • General Ledger and all reconciliations
  • Internal financial reporting
  • Government remittances and other required filings
  • Payroll, donation receipts, data analysis, comparative reports, bursaries, arrears, budget prep, and all fiscal year end audit responsibilities

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Accounting, and equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
  • 3+ years of financial administration experience, preferably in a school setting
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

Approximate Hours of Work: 2 days per week or 16 hours per week. Hours are flexible.

Compensation: $25-$45 hours per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
