Timothy Christian School is seeking a qualified Christian educator for a full-time teaching position. The successful candidate will primarily teach Physical Education from JK-8, with additional teaching responsibilities in Grade 8 Science, Geography, and History.

We are seeking a teacher who demonstrates a deep Christian faith and is committed to integrating a biblical worldview throughout their teaching and relationships within the school community.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education to elementary students.
• Teach Grade 8 Science, Geography, and History.
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, effective instruction.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment.
• Integrate biblical truth into teaching and daily classroom life.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
• Participate in worship, staff meetings, school events, and the broader life of the school.
• Contribute to the extracurricular program through coaching or other student activities, as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) Certificate.
• Demonstrate a personal and active Christian faith and a commitment to Christian education.
• Exhibit strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Be committed to academic excellence and the holistic development of each student.
• Have experience or an interest in teaching Physical Education and middle years students.

Compensation
Salary ranges from $52,000 to $80,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience and determined according to the Timothy Christian School salary grid.
