**Approx. March, 30 2027 to June 2028**

We are looking for a humble, hardworking, and inspiring high school teacher to teach literature and history while one of our teacher is on maternity leave. Courses for the 2026-2027 year include the following, and the 2027-2028 year will be similar. 

• Grade 9 Early Modern History 
• Grade 10 Greek and Roman History
• Grade 11 / 12 Twentieth Century History
• Grade 11 / 12 Twentieth Century Literature

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in history and literature and a developed gift for teaching and discipling. They will enjoy good and old books, and possess an appreciation for nature and the arts. This teacher will create a rich, friendly, and high standards environment. 

Position details 

• 4 credits worth (67% course load)
• Additional responsibilities include being a House Advisor, Student Advisor, and advising the upper school Writing Club, and perhaps another thing or two.
• Monday to Friday schedule (finish early 2-3 days/week this year)
  
• Status: Long term occasional (LTO), covering for a maternity leave 
• Duration: Approx. March 30, 2027 to end of June 2028
