Being an inclusive school has always been a priority at Willowdale Christian School.  We offer our families classroom support with teachers who practice UDL and DI, individual and small group withdrawal for both short and long term intervention and support, effective IEPs, access to the knowledge and experience, as well as the resources, of our Student Support Services.  This is a full time position, with supervisory responsibilities (2 EAs, therapists).  The successful candidate must:

• Be registered with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Have successfully completed, at a minimum, Part 1 of the Special Education AQ courses
• Possess strong organizational, writing and communication skills
• Have experience working with a variety of exceptionalities and ages of students
• Understand and value the importance of Christian education
• Be able to articulate their faith and how it impacts their daily life

Ideally, this position will have a start date of August 15, 2023.
