Job Posting – Elementary School Teacher

Cornerstone Christian School opened its doors as a private Christian School in September 2022. We are located at 11 School Street, Emo, Ontario. Emo is a small, friendly border town situated on the Rainy River, directly north of the state of Minnesota. Farming, mining and tourism are the main industries. The Rainy River District has many pristine lakes and is well know for its camping and fishing.

Role:

One Primary/Junior Full Time Position

A great teacher makes the world come alive in students’ minds and imaginations, inspiring them to question, examine and observe the world around them and within them. Wherever those students go after high school, the legacy of that great teacher is those who see awe and wonder in the created universe and are using their gifts to serve others and further the Kingdom of God.

The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for providing students with a supportive and caring learning environment that furthers our school's Vision Statement.

The ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate flexibility and creativity while working with students, parents and teachers is important. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the staff to help our students flourish.

Qualifications:

Teaching Certificate

Teaching experience in a multi-grade elementary classroom is an asset.
