London Christian Academy (LCA) is accepting applications for the position of Principal/Director of School Operations. We are seeking candidates who exhibit proven expertise in education, leadership, administration, and strategic planning. The candidate must be a strong spiritual leader who models integrity and faith with a passion for Christ-centred education.

The proposed start is August 2024, or a mutually agreed upon date.

LCA is centered in London, Ontario and has been providing quality Christian education from JK to grade 8 nearly 50 years. There are approximately 200 students with an interdenominational and multicultural student population, which includes some international students.

Along with a strong academic heritage, LCA offers many extra-curricular programs including athletics, music, drama and community outreach. The school’s success is made possible through a dedicated team of Ontario certified teachers, staff and volunteers.

The City of London, the Forest City, with its abundant trees and parks, is a pleasant city of approximately 400,000. Located in Southwestern Ontario, centrally between Toronto and Detroit, London has a strong presence in the arts, academic and athletic communities.

Requirements:

University and teaching degree

Ontario teaching certification (or the ability to hold such a certification)

Teaching/classroom experience

Preferred:

Principal or Vice Principal experience

Bible-based training

Master’s degree (or working towards one)
