Timothy Christian School (TCS) is a private Christian elementary school located in North Etobicoke (Rexdale) in west Toronto. Our mission is to educate and inspire students for a life of service in Christ’s kingdom.

What We Are Looking For: We are seeking a Junior/Intermediate Teacher to join our team in a 40% position. The successful candidate will teach junior and/or intermediate students in subjects such as art, science, geography, and history, while supporting both academic progress and spiritual development. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and effective in working with children. Knowledge of Teaching for Transformation and familiarity with the Responsive Classroom approach are considered assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
• Provide spiritual guidance and teach biblical values integrated within the classroom setting.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student development.
• Maintain a classroom atmosphere that is safe, respectful, and conducive to learning.
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.

Annual compensation will be in the range of $18,800 to $34,000, depending on the education and experience of the candidate.

Start date: August 17, 2026
