Both positions are to fill a maternity leave, and is subject to the Employment Standards Act. There is potential for part of this role to continue after the leave.
Part-time Front Office Assistant (2-3 days/wk)
You will support our Office Administrator in helping to run the front desk, serve students, teachers, and parents. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the school’s mission and values. The ideal candidate will be warm and friendly, able to trouble-shoot and handle multiple tasks, and dedicated to serving students, staff, and parents with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Office Administrator with daily office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, welcoming visitors, and assisting staff and students
- Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and electronic records and reports
- Assist with attendance tracking, and communication with parents/guardians
- Administrate Plan to Protect ® training and maintain personnel screening records
- Prepare and edit weekly newsletters
Qualifications:
- 2 years of administrative experience (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and appreciation for details
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer use, including G-suite, Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software as needed
- Quickbooks Online experience a benefit
- Flexibility and ability to welcome interruptions and serve where needed most
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
- Have a living, deepening friendship with the Lord Jesus. This includes belonging to a local church, and possessing an articulate grasp of the gospel.
Position Details:
- 2-3 days/week, Fridays required
- June 2026 to June 2027 estimated duration (to be confirmed)
- Daily hours would be 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Part-time Finance Assistant (2-3 days/wk)
You will provide clerical finance and bookkeeping support, and work with our General Accountant and Treasurer to assist with finance related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the finance email
- Bank deposits (weekly; may be done by office staff)
- Accounts payable and staff/volunteer reimbursements
- Payroll - biweekly
- Bookkeeping - recording bank activity (e-transfers, deposits, etc), recording credit card activity (collecting and reviewing receipts)
- Ontario Health at Home invoicing - Weekly
- Tuition Management - coordinating with families, setting up in August
- Recording donation income, and coordinate with our Director of Development
Qualifications:
- 2 years of finance / bookkeeping experience
- Some financial or bookkeeping education
- Strong organizational skills and appreciation for details
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computers and spreadsheets, including G-suite, and ability to learn new software as needed
- Quickbooks Online experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
- Have a living, deepening friendship with the Lord Jesus. This includes belonging to a local church, and possessing an articulate grasp of the gospel.
Position Details:
- 2-3 days/week, some seasons busier than others
- Potential for 1 days/week to be done remotely
- June 2026 to June 2027 estimated duration (to be confirmed)
- Daily hours would be 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
