King’s Christian Collegiate is seeking an outstanding, certified high school teacher who:

is passionate about understanding, supporting, and coaching students with learning differences to help unlock barriers to success and experience the fulfillment of confronting or overcoming struggles

has at least five years of successful classroom teaching experience (or equivalent work with adolescents), ideally with high school students and a secondary subject for which there is both expertise and passion
- has completed special education AQ courses or relevant training

has acquired knowledge or is developing a keen interest in current brain research, learning theory, and psychology; can ably teach learning skills

has a strong sense of curiosity and an aptitude for educational research, uncovering best practices, individualized instructional strategies to effectively and relationally support student learning and holistic well-being

is excited to join our strong Learning Commons team to partner and communicate with students, parents, and/or teachers for strategic learning input, growth, and progress

can commit to learning and implementing the King’s curriculum for coaching skills as a pathway for guiding students in the ownership of their learning journey and goals

has personal strengths relevant to equipping teenagers to grow in wisdom, responsibility, and independent learning

is eager to continue developing as an adaptive Christian professional to prepare future-ready students in a rapidly changing world that requires good character paired with creativity and critical thinking, along with positive actions and contributions

shares our Christian faith and enjoys pointing students to Jesus

is energized by teaching teenagers in highly respectful, interactive, and hope-filled ways

This full-time role includes a combination of classroom teaching in the candidate’s subject speciality and joining the Learning Commons team for individualized student support.
This is a term contract for the 2025-26 school year. King's is well-positioned for opportunities beyond 2025-26 for successful Christian educators with strong expertise and alignment with our school values.
