Director of Fundraising and Alumni Relations

HCS is seeking to hire a Director of Fundraising and Alumni Management. If you

Position: Director of Fundraising and Alumni Relations

Time Allotment: 20 hours per week

Position Start Date: 2025/2026 school year (August 1st 2025)


About HCS:

HCS serves over 200 students. We seek to educate and inspire students to become
all that God created them to be while delivering a comprehensive program taught
from a fully integrated biblical worldview, in partnership with parents.


Role:

The Director of Fundraising and Alumni Relations must be someone who is
passionate about Christian education and dedicated to the mission and vision that
drive Huron Christian School. As a frontline representative of the school, they
must have a strong understanding of the culture of Christian education at HCS
and integration in the community is vital.
Through community and school-wide events the successful candidate will work to
build and strengthen relationships with existing parents, grandparents,
volunteers, alumni, and all other supporters. The Director will also work closely
with the school’s Administration team to identify other potential non-tuition
sources of revenue for the school, including--but not limited--to donor
identification and retention, grant funding, and recurring Alumni support for a
strong income stream into the future. The candidate will integrate their role with
the current Admin team to leverage the current newsletter and social media
platforms to maximize the effectiveness and reach of the school.

- Effective time management strategies
- Proficient in creating strong interpersonal relationships 
- Computer skills to support creating promotional materials, updating websites
and social media
- Experience with fundraising is an asset
