We are seeking a full-time custodian to join our SCCS team. This is for an existing, open position. The Custodian plays a vital role in supporting the mission of SCCS by helping create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where students can learn and grow. Responsibilities include the daily cleaning and ongoing preventative maintenance of school facilities and grounds. Experience or knowledge in mechanical systems and building operations is an asset. The successful candidate must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively. The expected salary range is $45,000- $ 55,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and supplying bathrooms
- Dusting; mopping; vacuuming
- Daily changing of garbage and blueboxes
- Cleaning surfaces to maintain a healthy environment
- Performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance, which may include using tools and ladders
- Removing snow, litter, or other debris from grounds
- Setting up for school events and supporting staff needs

Requirements:
- JHSC Training preferred
- First Aid
