Trenton Christian School, a campus of Quinte Region Christian Schools, is currently accepting applications for a definite, part-time (40%) Kindergarten teacher. TCS has been offering Christian Education in the Quinte West area for almost 70 years. We have just over 230 students on our Preschool to Grade 8 campus.  

The mission of the Quinte Region Christian Schools is to offer enhanced Christian Education, based on the truth of the Bible; to equip and challenge our students to be disciples of Christ in an ever-changing world.  

This teacher will work closely with our team of Kindergarten teachers. Specifically, this candidate will teach two full days per week, sharing the classroom with another of our part-time staff. This teacher will have a passion for Christian Education, a love for young children, and a desire to work as a team to create a space where all students can grow and flourish as children of God. 

The ideal candidate will also:

• Be OCT certified 
• Have or be willing to obtain a Christian school educator’s certificate (CSTC or ACSI)

• Be familiar with the Teaching for Transformation framework
• Have experience in a Kindergarten classroom
• Value collaboration
• Be familiar with Science of Reading strategies
• Seek to meet the unique needs of each student

Quinte Region Christian Schools uses the Edvance/Vocate salary grid to determine compensation.
