MBCI Assistant Principal

MBCI is seeking a qualified individual to join our leadership team as an Assistant
Principal. This role will primarily focus on overseeing the day-to-day operations of life at
MBCI, including student discipline, while addressing the needs of students, staff, and
parents with care and responsiveness. Key responsibilities include leading specific
school initiatives related to administration, teaching and learning, teacher development
and support, events, co-curricular activities, and fostering a positive school culture.

  • Applicants for this position should:

    supported by evidence of such practices.
    • Show interest and experience in curriculum development and program assessment.

    • Have knowledge of, belief in, and a commitment to project-based learning as a
    teaching philosophy.
    • Be committed to practicing restorative discipline within a team-based context.
    • Possess demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and effective communication,
    especially in challenging situations.
    • Exhibit excellent communication skills.
    • Display strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative
    tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Understand that this role is shaped by the dynamic needs of the school and its daily
    operations.
    • Uphold MBCI's professional standards and conduct expectations, consistently
    working to support and embody the culture and core values of our Christ-centered
    school.
