Timothy Christian School (TCS) is located in North Etobicoke (Rexdale) in west Toronto. Our mission is to educate and inspire students for a life of service in Christ’s kingdom.

We are seeking a junior/intermediate teacher to join our team for the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will teach grade 8 history, science and geography, as well as physical education for grades JK-8. The ideal applicant is organized, dependable, and effective in working with children. We welcome candidates who bring experience with Teaching for Transformation and familiarity with the Responsive Classroom approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
• Provide spiritual guidance and teach biblical values integrated within the classroom setting.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student development.
• Maintain a classroom atmosphere that is safe, respectful, and conducive to learning.
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.

Annual compensation will range from $45,000 to $80,000, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.

Start date: August 17, 2026
